Relieur de formation, le normand Olivier Thiébaut n’est ni sculpteur, ni peintre : il s’est fait une spécialité de la mise en boîte. Passionné d’archéologie, il collectionne dès l’enfance des trésors découverts dans la terre. Puis il découvre
le surréalisme et la portée poétique des rencontres insolites entre objets. Il est aujourd’hui plasticien, se passionne pour l’art brut et réalise des décors pour le cinéma et le théâtre.
